My name is Katina Demetriou, known as Katia. I am an experienced psychotherapist. based in East Sussex. My practice, Creative Psychotherapy, supports you to make sense of thoughts, feelings and behaviours, past and present, that may be troubling you or causing distress.
Creative Psychotherapy is available for individuals aged 18+. I offer a collaborative approach, integrating talk therapy, arts processes, mindfulness, breath and body work, as well as EMDR. I aim to provide a space for calm, compassionate reflection and enquiry in support of your wellbeing.
As a trauma informed therapist, I specialise in working with individuals with reported experience of abuse and neglect in childhood, including sexual, physical and emotional abuse, as well as individuals who have survived sexual assault and abusive relationships in adulthood.
